Dr. Papp heads the CART Data Management/Analytic Unit which provides data and analytic support to all the CART projects. In addition to her work on autism, Dr. Papp is the Director of the UCLA Sequencing and Genotyping Core Facility, and a member of the Bioinformatics Core of the Department of Human Genetics. Her research interests focus on the development of novel bioinformatic solutions and software for the management, integration, and analysis of clinical and genetic data. In addition she directs a Core Laboratory which performs genetic research for the scientific community at UCLA and beyond. The Core facility was visited by over 1000 scientists in the last year, and provides research assistance for scientists, from students, to senior researchers and professors.
