Autism Symposium, 7 December 2007
Continuing Education
The full-day symposium is designed to broaden the knowledge, awareness and skills of participants concerning the neurobiological basis, evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with autism and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). By providing the latest scientific findings about autism spectrum disorders and describing evidenced-based treatments, this symposium is designed to equip community practitioners so that they may apply the most effective "best practices" for assessment and treatment for their patients and clients with ASD. This program has been approved for up to 6.5 hours of Category 1 Continuing Medical Education and BBS credit by the Semel Institute at UCLA.
Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) The Semel Institute at UCLA designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.5 hours of Category I credit toward the California Medical Association's Certification in Continuing Medical Education and the AMA's Physician Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.
