10:00AM to 10:30AM Community Questions and Discussion: Members of the autism community can meet with the guest speaker, and obtain information about the CART research programs, including opportunities for autism families to participate in CART research.

UCLA CART Scientists Drs. Susan Bookheimer, Daniel Geschwind, and Connie Kasari speak at 2009 Autism Research Conference Today's Autism Research: Tomorrow's Promising Outcomes.
This conference, sponsored by the Grandparent Autism Network, is intended to bring hope in the New Year to families affected by autism. It will feature UCLA's outstanding genetic, brain and social autism research and explain how families, professionals and autism service providers will benefit from the findings. If a family's children are consumers receiving services from any Regional Center, one family member may qualify for free admission with prior approval from their Regional Center Service Coordinator.
